UNION'S LYNN WEEMS NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN
Jackson, TN--Â鶹ÊÓƵ University women's tennis player Lynn Weems has been named to the 1997 NAIA Academic All-American team. The senior from Trenton, Tennessee, helped lead the Lady Bulldogs to a national ranking and the 1997 NAIA National Championships where Â鶹ÊÓƵ finished 11th in the nation. Weems has compiled a 3.50 grade point average in Special Education during her academic career at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
