Â鶹ÊÓƵ's John Koffman Named Academic All-American
Jackson, TN--Â鶹ÊÓƵ University shortstop John Koffman has been named to the 1997 NAIA Academic All-American team. The junior from Dyersburg, Tennessee, has a cumulative grade point average of 3.88 in accounting. For two seasons Koffman has started in the infield for the Bulldogs and has a two-year batting average of .331. This seasons for Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Koffman was third on the team in hitting with a .340 batting average while driving in 29 runs.
Koffman also earned second team All-TranSouth Conference honors this season.
