UNION TENNIS SIGNS LUIS POZZI

Jackson, TN--The Â鶹ÊÓƵ University men's tennis program signed their first recruit for the 1998 season. Luis Pozzi, a foreign exchange student from Tatui, Sao Paulo, Brazil, has committed to Â鶹ÊÓƵ for the next tennis season. Pozzi played tennis at Fayette Academy in Sommerville, Tennessee, where he accumulated a 13-1 high school record. Pozzi earned several honors this season including District Champion, Regional Champion, and State Champion. Fayette Academy competes in the Mississippi Private School Athletic Association. |
