UNION SIGNS JCS STAR NATHAN NASH

Jackson, TN-The Â鶹ÊÓƵ University baseball program added another player to its list of signees for the 1999 season.  Jackson Christian star Nathan Nash committed today to play his collegiate baseball career with the Bulldogs.

According to Â鶹ÊÓƵ head coach Andy Rushing, "With Nathan's great defensive ability as an outfielder, he will be a huge addition to Â鶹ÊÓƵ's lineup.  Add his excellent offensive and base running skills and Nathan should have an immediate impact here at Â鶹ÊÓƵ."

This season for the Eagles, Nash has guided Jackson Christian to a 19-6 overall record.  Nash is presently hitting .513 with 13 doubles, one triple, and six homeruns.  Add to his statistics 12 stolen bases, 38 runs, and 32 runs batted in and fans can see why he will be a great addition to the Bulldog lineup.

Nash joins other signees McNairy's Dustin Brown, Lincoln County's Travis Brown, South Side's Jeff Wyatt, Jackson State's Seth Bennett and Jackson State's Josh Carter.
