MILLINGTON'S MICAH HOLTON SIGNS WITH UNION
Jackson, TN--Millington Central High School graduate Micah Holton committed last week to play for the new varsity men's soccer program at Â鶹ÊÓƵ University beginning in the fall of 1998. Holton, a 1997 graduate of Millington, earned several honors in his high school career including being named to the All-District team in both his junior and senior seasons. Holton also earned All-Region and Special Teams Player of the Year honors in football for the Trojans.
In addition to his athletic achievements, Holton was also a campus leader as shown by his selection as Student Body President, Mr. MCHS, Scholar Athlete of the Year, MCHS Hall of Fame, Beta Club, and numerous other scholastic achievements.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ University Bulldogs will compete in the TranSouth Conference with opponents Birmingham-Southern College, Berry College, Lee University, Lyon College, Martin Methodist College and Williams Baptist College.
