UNION'S MICHELLE STREET NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jackson, TN--Michelle, a senior forward from Bradford, Tennessee, has been named TranSouth Player of the Week of February 10-15. This is the third time that Michelle has earned this honor. In three Lady Bulldog wins, Michelle had 69 points (23 ppg), 28 rebounds, 11 steals, nine assists and a blocked shot. From the field she hit an incredible 82% (29-35). She had two double-doubles on the week (11 on the season), including a 33 point, 11 rebounds performance Saturday against Blue Mountain. In that game, Michelle set a new Â鶹ÊÓƵ record for field goal percentage game, connecting on 14-of-14 shots from the floor. A Â鶹ÊÓƵ Lady Bulldog has had the honor the past three weeks Jan. 27-Feb. 1-Street, Feb. 3-8 Lori Love). Michelle will be nominated for NAIA Player of the Week honors.
