UNION'S LORI LOVE NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jackson, TN--Lori Love, a 5'6" freshman guard from Jackson, Tennessee, has been named TranSouth Player of the Week for February 3-8. In two Lady Bulldog victories, Love had 33 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals. In the Lady Bulldogs' win over No. 26 Freed-Hardeman, Love hit seven three-point shots on her way to 21 points. For the week she was 11-18 from behind the three-point arc (61%). Love currently leads the Lady Bulldogs in free-throw percentage with a 91% average. Her incredible free-throw percentage has her leading the TranSouth Conference as well as ranking her nationally.

Love prepped locally at South Side High School where she scored over 1,200 points in her career.
