UNION MEN ATTAIN HIGHEST RANKING IN SCHOOL HISTORY
Jackson, TN--There was much excitement on the campus of Â鶹ÊÓƵ University today when the first NAIA rating for the year was released. For the first time in school history, the men's basketball program earned a No. 11 rating in the Division I basketball ratings. The Bulldogs are currently 10-1 on the season and will play their final two games before the Christmas break this Friday and Saturday at the Lee University Classic.
The Lady Bulldogs maintained their No. 3 standing, ranked behind the teams that have handed Â鶹ÊÓƵ their only two loses this season-Southern Nazarene University OK and Oklahoma Baptist University. The Lady Bulldogs next contest will not be until January 6, 1998, when they play at Lambuth University.
