November 25, 1996--Jackson, TN --The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University women's softball program added another athlete to their lineup when they signed Jackson State's Susan Love to play the 1997-98 season for the Lady Bulldogs stated head coach Brian Dunn.
During the 1996 season, Love batted .425 for the Lady Generals at Jackson State and was named All-TJCAA. Love spent her high school career at South Side High School and earned All-West Tennessee and All-State honors while playing for the Lady Hawks. Love's talents cover almost every area on the field including first base, the outfield, and even a spot on the pitcher's mound.
"We are thrilled to have Susan coming to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ next year. She is an outstanding student and athlete who will help strengthen our program," stated Coach Dunn.
Susan will join older sister, Lori Love, who currently plays basketball for the Lady Bulldogs at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
