NASHVILLE'S JAKE EATON COMMITS TO UNION

Jackson, TN--Brentwood Academy senior Jake Eaton will be playing for the Â鶹ÊÓƵ University Bulldogs next season. The 6-4 senior guard has scored over 900 points in his high school career and could very easily surpass the 1,000 point milestone this year. During his junior season, Eaton averaged 14.7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists per game.

Eaton, a two-time All-District performer, is a three-year starter for the Eagles and has gained the attention of coaches from The Citadel, Army, Navy, Layfayette, Martin Methodist, Lincoln Memorial and others. Eaton stated he chose Â鶹ÊÓƵ because of the potential to qualify for the NAIA National Championships as well as having the desire to attend a Christian institution.

According to head coach, Ralph Turner, " Jake is very talented and could have gone to a Division I school, but I think he found what he was looking for when he came to visit. Jake brings to us a great outside shot, basketball ability, strength and character."
