UNION GOLF WINS SECOND CONSECUTIVE TOURNAMENT

Pickwick, TN--The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University men's golf team was declared the winner of their second consecutive tournament on Monday when they won the Shiloh Falls Classic. Due to weather conditions, the course was determined unplayable, therefore, several teams were unable to complete 36 holes, so standings were determined based on first- round play. Teams were scheduled to play another round today. Stephen Hammond once again led the Bulldogs to a tournament championship by finishing in the lead.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ finished first-round play with a score of 299 and a second-round score of 297. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ defeated seven NCAA II teams to capture the Shiloh Falls title.

1. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ 299-297=596, 2. Clayton State 300-299=599, 3. Georgia College 309- 296=605, 4. Eckerd University 308-308=616, 5. Delta State 323-327=650.

West Florida 303, North Alabama 310, Lynn University 311.
