Residence Life at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University has a tradition of excellence, and we strongly believe in the developmental value of life on campus. With Christ-centered Residence Life staff, purposeful programming, community values and people-focused service to each student, you can be confident that your residence life experience at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will be a very enriching part of your time at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
Housing for upperclassmen
The Quads
Each apartment in The Quads contains a kitchen, two bathrooms, and four bedrooms, giving each student a private bedroom. (Handicap-accessible apartments have three bedrooms and one bathroom.)
- The bathrooms in each apartment both include a standing shower, a sink with cabinet space below, a mirror and a toilet.
- The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove/oven, shelves, cabinets, and a microwave.
- Each apartment contains an energy-efficient washer/dryer unit.
- There is a window in each living room and bedroom. (.pdf)
- There is central heating and air, separately controlled in each apartment.
- Each apartment is fully furnished. The living room is equipped with a couch, chair, coffee table, end table, and a large bookcase. Each bedroom includes a height-adjustable, extra-long twin-size bed and mattress, a four-drawer dresser (that can be un-stacked and placed under the bed), a writing desk with an upper shelf, two drawers and a file drawer, a two-position desk chair, and a built-in closet with overhead storage.
- All furniture in the Hope Quads will be free-standing; surfaces are non-porous and will not scratch. If desired, you may loft your bed.
Housing for the freshman-year experience
Heritage
Each apartment in Heritage Residence Complex contains a kitchen, one bathroom, and four bedrooms, giving each student a private bedroom. (Handicap-accessible apartments have three bedrooms and one bathroom.)
- The bathroom in each apartment includes a traditional tub shower, a sink with cabinet space below, a mirror and a toilet.
- The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove/oven, shelves, and cabinets. (A microwave is included in Grey and Dodd.)
- There is a window in each living room and bedroom. (.pdf)
- There is central heating and air, separately controlled in each apartment.
- Each apartment is fully furnished. The living room is equipped with a couch, chair, coffee table, and end table. (There is a bookcase in the living room in Grey and Dodd.) Each bedroom includes a built-in extra-long twin-size bed with mattress, a four-drawer dresser (that can be un-stacked and placed under the bed), a built-in desk with a two shelves above, two drawers and a file drawer, a two-position desk chair, and a built-in closet with overhead storage. (Please note that the twin-sized bed and desk in Grey and Dodd are not built-in, but are free-standing furniture, as found in The Quads.)
Family Housing
Warmath
Warmath Family Housing is apartment-style housing for graduate students, students who are married, students with small families, or non-traditional undergraduate students. The apartments include two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and a living room with a dining area. Warmath is located between Heritage Residence Complex and Greek Row.
Warmath Family Housing consists of 20 apartments arranged in three buildings. For more information about Warmath, please contact the Office of Residence Life at reslife@uu.edu or 731.661.5432.

**Note: Warmath Apartments are not furnished. You are responsible for providing all furnishing for your apartment.**
Applying for Warmath Family Housing
If you are interested in Warmath Family Housing, please complete . Once received, the Office of Residence Life will send an informational e-mail regarding Warmath Housing, as well as instructions for submit an application and putting down a $100 Housing Deposit. Only applicants who are currently enrolled students will be considered for approval.
When your Application has been processed, we will contact you regarding the current status of vacant apartments. As apartment become available, we contact individuals on the waiting list according to the earliest Application received.
Housing for graduate students and more
Graduate & Family Housing
Housing for graduate students, students who are married, students with small families or non-traditional undergraduate students.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University offers two convenient housing options for graduate students studying in Jackson.
For Single Students
Single student housing is available in the Hope Quad for $840/month. Amenities include:
- Private bedroom with included bed, desk, and dresser
- Shared living space with 2-3 other roommates includes:
- Large living room with couch, chair, coffee table, and entertainment table
- Two bathrooms
- Full kitchen including microwave, washer and dryer
- Wi-fi and all utilities included
- No lease; just give us 30 days’ notice if you are moving out
For Married Students
Married housing is available in Warmath Family Housing for $1075/month with utilities included. Amenities include:
- Two bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen.
- Water, electric, and Wi-fi included
- No furniture is provided
- No lease; just give us 30 days’ notice if you are moving out
Bowld Student Commons
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's residential commons building is designed for the use of our 1,200 residential students. Inside, you'll find multipurpose space for meetings or athletics with a second-floor walking track, television lounges, music rooms, an Internet lounge, game rooms and meeting areas for campus organizations. In addition to 30,000 square feet of indoor space, the outdoor facilities here include courts for basketball, tennis and volleyball, as well as bricked-in grills. Students helped design this outstanding facility, which opened in January 2010.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's residential commons building is designed for the use of our 1,200 residential students. Inside, you'll find multipurpose space for meetings or athletics with a second-floor walking track, television lounges, music rooms, an Internet lounge, game rooms and meeting areas for campus organizations. Guest Suites
Rooms are available in the McAfee Commons and in the Warmath Complex. Guests may check-in at the Bowld Commons after 3 p.m. on their day of arrival and must check-out by 9:30 a.m. the day of their departure.
