The RN-to-BSN program was designed to allow registered nurses to earn a bachelor of science in nursing while continuing their professional work.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ Provost Carla D. Sanderson delivered the commencement address at the Germantown ceremony. Sanderson is currently serving her ninth year as Â鶹ÊÓƵ's dean of the school of nursing.

This is the second year Â鶹ÊÓƵ has held a fall graduation ceremony. The University began offering a fall commencement in 1996, so that students who fulfill their degree requirements during the fall or winter semesters can graduate closer to the time they complete their college curriculum.
