| Jackson, Tenn. - Â鶹ÊÓƵ University's Germantown campus
graduated its first class of RN-to-BSN nursing students last Sunday, Dec. 20, in the
Mid-America Seminary chapel. The University conferred 33 degrees during the commencement
ceremony.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ Provost Carla D. Sanderson delivered the commencement address at the Germantown ceremony. Sanderson is currently serving her ninth year as Â鶹ÊÓƵ's dean of the school of nursing. This is the second year Â鶹ÊÓƵ has held a fall graduation ceremony. The University began offering a fall commencement in 1996, so that students who fulfill their degree requirements during the fall or winter semesters can graduate closer to the time they complete their college curriculum. |
