UNION UNIVERSITY TO OFFER SEMINARY STUDIES COURSES

Jackson, Tenn. — Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University, in cooperation with the local associations, will offer five seminary studies courses this spring.

Classes will meet for thirteen weeks from Feb. 9 to May 11, 1998. Students may have their credits transferred to any other SBC seminaries and graduate from that institution.

Costs for the program are: $35,00 application fee payable at the time the student mails his application and a fee of $100.00 per credit hour. After the first class meeting, there are no refunds for dropped classes. Fees for non-Southern Baptists are double. Textbooks for all courses may be purchased at the campus bookstore. Seminary students have full library privileges at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University library.

The following courses will be offered at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ:

"Supervised Ministry Experience"

Time: Mondays, 8:45-9:45 (two hours credit)

Professor: Dr. John Adams

"Historical and Philosophical Foundations of Education"

Time: Mondays, 10:30-11:30 (three hours credit)

Professor: Dr. Dennis E. Williams

"The Worshipping Church"

Time: Mondays, 2:00-5:00 (three hours credit)

Professor: Dr, Charles Fowler

"Introduction to the New Testament, Part II"

Time: Mondays, 5:45-8:45 (three hours credit)

Professor: Dr. Paul Jackson

"Elementary Hebrew"

Time: Tuesdays, 10:00-12:00 (three hours credit/two semesters)

Professor: Dr. Kelvin Moore
