MEMPHIS PASTOR TO LEAD IN UNION'S CHRISTMAS WORSHIP SERVICE
Jackson, Tenn. — L. Joseph Rosas, pastor of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Avenue Baptist Church in Memphis, will lead Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Christmas Worship on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.
The worship service will also include the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah, performed by the Â鶹ÊÓƵ University Singers and the Chapel choir. The congregation will sing other Christmas hymns.
Rosas received his bachelor's degree from Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 1976. He received his Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and his Doctor of Philosophy from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rosas has also received numerous awards and published several articles in his field.
