Jackson, Tenn. – November 27, 2000 – Â鶹ÊÓƵ University's
communication arts, music and art departments will come together to
present the third annual "Christmas Is…a Time, a Star, a
Gift," Tuesday, Dec. 5th in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.
Written by Wayne Johnson, associate professor of communication arts,
the presentation will include performances by the Â鶹ÊÓƵ University
Players, the Symphonic and Stage Bands, Â鶹ÊÓƵ University Singers, Chapel
Choir and Handbells.
The evening's events will also include a nativity scene, audience
participation and a Christmas carol sing-along. The original drama is a
retelling of the Christmas story and in the past years has been performed
to a full house.
"Christmas Is…a Time, a Star, a Gift" will begin at 7:30
p.m. and admission is free. For more information, contact the
