Jackson, Tenn. – November 1, 2000 – Prospective students
will have an opportunity to take a glimpse of the college experience at
one of the two Campus Preview Days to be held November 10th and 17th at
Â鶹ÊÓƵ University. The day is especially designed for high school seniors
and their parents to get acquainted with the campus and, in addition, take
part in a student's typical day at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
The day kicks off with registration at 8:45 a.m. in the Barefoot
Student Â鶹ÊÓƵ building. Prospective students will be able to meet with
current Â鶹ÊÓƵ students and administrators, participate in a chapel service
and attend a class. A cafeteria lunch, a campus tour and a chance to meet
with enrollment counselors will finish out the day.
"Our current Preview Day schedule has been a very successful
recruiting tool for Â鶹ÊÓƵ," said Robbie Graves, director of
enrollment services. "I feel that if we can get a prospective student
and their family on campus and let them see first hand the unique things
that Â鶹ÊÓƵ has to offer then we have a very good chance of attracting that
student to Â鶹ÊÓƵ," he said.
There is no charge to attend and the dress is casual. Those interested
