"Which way should you vote?"
Â鶹ÊÓƵ political professor will offer perspective

Dr. Sean Evans

Jackson, Tenn.October 23, 2000 – Sean Evans, a political science professor at Â鶹ÊÓƵ University, will speak on the importance of voting in a Life Issues forum, Thursday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. in Harvey Hall at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

"I think it's very important that people clearly research and study the candidate of their choice, making sure that this individual will represent your views and ideals, and represent them well," said Evans.

"In this election we need to vote responsibly - not voting at all is not responsible. Hopefully this lecture will show students that," said Jay Ridenhour, director of discipleship ministries at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, and coordinator of the Life Issues series, sponsored by the Student Government Association, Campus Ministries, and Students in Free Enterprise.

This event is open to the public. For more information, contact Jay Ridenhour at (901) 661-5165.
