Memphis native wins communication scholarship

Jackson, Tenn. — Memphis native Stephanie Lim has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Nashville Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Lim is one of only two recipients.

A communication arts major at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University, Lim was selected for her academic accomplishment and participation in communication organizations and internships.

Lim is acting president of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's chapter of the Society of Collegiate Journalists and vice president of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Lim is the features editor of the Cardinal and Cream, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's student newspaper, and is serving as communications specialist for World Changers, a service program of the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is a Southern Baptist, liberal arts college located in Jackson, Tenn.
