UNION UNIVERSITY TO OFFER FOUR FALL SEMINARY STUDIES COURSES

JACKSON, June 5-- Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University will offer four courses for seminary credit this fall through the University's seminary studies program. The program allows students to take seminary-level courses on Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's campus and apply earned credits toward graduation at any Southern Baptist seminary.

Classes will for thirteen weeks from Sept. 9 to Dec. 9. Course offerings and meeting times are as follows:

Monday courses:
10:00-1:00, Introduction to the Old Testament, Part I (20200)- Taught by Dr. Kelvin Moore. Three hours credit.
1:30-4:30, Christian Education Telecourse (To be announced)
5:15-8:15, Ephesians and Colossians (23440)- Taught by Dr. Paul Jackson. Three hours credit.
Tuesday course:
Supervised Ministry Experience (4440)- Taught by Dr. John Adams. Two hours credit.

Students wishing to enroll in the Supervised Ministry Experience must first take Formation for Christian Ministry as a prerequisite. The course is offered July 9-18 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Both the Supervised Ministry Experience and the Christian Education Telecourse count toward on-campus course requirements.

Costs for the program are a $35 application fee and a fee of $250 per course. Fees are double for non-Southern Baptists. Textbooks for all courses may be purchased at the campus bookstore. Seminary students have full access to the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University library.
