LOUISIANA NATIVE JOINS
UNION AS DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
Jackson, Tenn. — Douglas Baker has been named Â鶹ÊÓƵ's director of communications, effective May 25.
Baker comes to Â鶹ÊÓƵ from Baton Rouge, La., where he served as director of communications for NorthStar Leadership, Inc. NorthStar is a public policy research firm specializing in K-12 and higher education.
Baker is a graduate of Louisiana State University and will receive his master of divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
In his new position, Baker will plan and direct a program of institutional marketing and advertising for Â鶹ÊÓƵ and assist university departments and programs in planning and implementing marketing efforts.
