UNION UPDATING ALUMNI MISSIONARIES' RECORDS
Jackson, Tenn. — In 1998 Â鶹ÊÓƵ University will celebrate 175 years of Christian heritage as the oldest educational institution affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
In doing so, the Office of Institutional Advancement is seeking information on all missionaries who attended Â鶹ÊÓƵ University, located in Jackson, Tenn.
If you or someone you know attended Â鶹ÊÓƵ and currently serves or has served in the past as a missionary in any capacity, please contact the University at 1-800-338-6644 or (901) 661-5050.
Ramona Mercer, former missionary to Japan and Â鶹ÊÓƵ's first missionary-in-residence, is coordinating the research. She said Â鶹ÊÓƵ is looking for the names, class years, locations and spouse's names of all individuals who have served in the mission field. "Every piece of information is valuable and will be helpful in updating our record," Mercer said.
