UNION PROFESSOR
TO ATTEND CALVIN COLLEGE SEMINAR
Jackson, Tenn. — Glenn Marsch, assistant professor of physics at Â鶹ÊÓƵ University, has been selected to participate in the 1998 Calvin College Summer Seminar, "Theology and the New Physics," with the Rev. John Polkinghorne. The seminar will be held July 6 - August 7.
Marsch will study with a dozen other scientists on the Calvin campus in Grand Rapids, Mich. His proposed research is titled, "Human Emotion and Quantum Uncertainties - A Unified Approach."
Marsch also delivered the keynote address at the March 21 meeting of the Tennessee Academy of Sciences held at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
