PROFESSORS HONORED AT ANNUAL MEETING OF LEADERS CREDIT UNION

Jackson, Tenn. — Members of Leaders Credit Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (LCU) recently re-elected Kenny Holt, assistant professor of economics and management at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University, to his second term as chairman of the LCU board of directors.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ hosted the credit union's annual meeting Saturday, Feb. 22 in the Hyran E. Barefoot Student Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Building. At the meeting, Sam Myatt, professor of business administration, received a plaque honoring his service as a board member since 1989 and his role as chairman of the board from 1994 until 1996.

In recent years, Leaders Credit Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, currently located at 90 Directors Row in Jackson, has grown to a $30,000,000 financial institution and is currently in the process of opening a branch office at Highland and Old Hickory. Construction will soon begin on a new main office facility on Oil Well Road, near Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University.
