Dr. Santhosh Abraham has worked in several higher educational institutions located all over the globe such as Thailand, England, Scotland, Dubai, and New York. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Assumption University as well as an M.S. and a Ph.D. from the University of Exeter. During his time as a professor, Dr. Abraham has taught accounting and finance at both the undergraduate and graduate level including doctoral supervision. In his applied research, Dr. Abraham focused on improving the quality of information disclosed by corporates to the investing public and how accounting information is transmitted to investors during the earnings release. His research has been published in the top five leading accounting journals. Two of his favorite classes to teach are Intermediate Accounting and Principles of Accounting II. He appreciates the direct applicability of Intermediate Accounting, and the challenges involved in communicating how accounting and finance apply to everyone in Principles of Accounting II. On his days off, Dr. Abraham enjoys walking and hiking.

Addo, Richard

Dr. Richard Tettey Addo, B. Pharm., Ph.D., graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from the University of Science and Technology, Ghana in 2002. After practicing Pharmacy in a variety of settings he joined Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where he earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2008. Prior to joining �鶹��Ƶ University as Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics, Dr. Addo served as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy (Shenandoah University) in 2008 and at the same time also served as an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacogenomics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He has also served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Mercer University. Dr. Addo teaches pharmaceutical calculations, Pharmaceutics, sterile and non-sterile compounding to first and second year pharmacy students.
Some of his research interests include stability of compounded formulations, dosage forms and drug delivery systems. This includes a broad perspective of delivering various small molecules and large molecules (e.g. vaccines and proteins) in their most stable form to treat numerous diseases such as inflammations and cancers that have taken a major toll in the human population. This involves creating a delivery platform of formulation and efficient processing of microparticles and nanoparticles for protein pharmaceuticals, controlled release biodegradable and targetable particle drug delivery systems prepared by one-step spray drying. His long-term research goal is to develop a strategy where a vaccine, when formulated in a delivery vehicle (micro- and nanoparticles with specific excipients/adjuvants) can behave in a desired manner to stimulate the body’s immune recognition and facilitate a long lasting potent memory to that disease. He has published a number of peer reviewed scientific articles and had poster presentations at both regional and national scientific meetings.
Besides chasing after his three children, Dr. Addo enjoys playing ping pong (table tennis) with his students and friends.
