These services make the Learning Disabilities Association of America the leading resource for information on learning disabilities.
- The National Association for the Education of African American Children with Learning Disabilities (NAEAACLD) was founded in 2000 for the purpose of increasing awareness and promoting an understanding of the specific issues facing African American children.
- The mission of the National Coalition on Auditory Processing Disorders, Inc. is to assist families and individuals affected by auditory processing disorders through education, support, and public awareness as well as promoting auditory access of information for those affected by auditory processing disorders.
