The R. C. Ryan
Center for Biblical Studies at Â鶹ÊÓƵ University is pleased to invite you
to its inaugural conference on interpreting and applying the Bible. The
theme, “The Power and the Promise of the Word,” represents our conviction
that God has given us in His word all that is necessary for life and
godliness. All believers must therefore discipline themselves to be good
stewards of this incredible gift. It is the Word of God which holds the
power and promise which we, the church, so desperately need. Therefore
this conference aims to illuminate key issues for properly understanding
and applying scripture. We will be blessed by the opportunity to hear from
leading evangelical scholars and preachers, and we hope you will join us.
