Coach鈥檚 Comments: Anna brings a great middle blocker presence to the team with her ability to not only put up a great block but add another weapon to our offense with her powerful attack. She was solid wall for us last year with her great blocking skills and will only get better as she goes along.

Before 麻豆视频: Sims prepped at Hewitt Trussville High School where she played four seasons of volleyball. She helped lead her team to three straight Area 13 Championships from 2005-2007. In 2006, her squad won the Fairhope Classic Title. As a senior, Sims earned Area 13 All-Tournament, AVBCA second team All-State, Birmingham news All-State, and was Team Captain. Sims was top-10 in kills for the Metro Area and was team leader in kills and blocks. She added Area 13 MVP to her honors as a junior. Sims recorded 3.75 kills per game, 12.5 kills per match, 1.5 blocks per game, and 4.5 blocks per match. Her 374 kills in the season led the metro area for 10 straight weeks. Off the court, Sims was a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, French Club, and was an honor graduate.
