Heather Lieberman
JR, 5-8
Hometown: Rochester, N.Y.
Previous School: Genesee CC
Coach’s Comments: Heather is a talented player who was an All-American Outside Hitter as a Freshman. She was injured during her Sophomore season but still contributed to the team in a big way last year. Now that she has recovered from the injury, she will contribute greatly at her normal level of play by using her skills as both a great hitter and passer.
Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Lieberman played volleyball for one season at Genesee Community College where she was named Region Player of the Year, 1st team All-Conference, and 2nd team All-American. She was elected twice as the player of the week while playing at Genesee CC. Lieberman prepped at Wayne Central High School in Ontario Center, New York. At Wayne Central, Lieberman was a three sport athlete involved in volleyball, and indoor and outdoor track. She was named Team Captain for volleyball and indoor track. In volleyball, she earned first team All-League and All-State as both a junior and senior. Lieberman also received the Coaches Award as a senior. Lieberman was just as successful in the classroom. She was a member of the National Honor Society, a scholar athlete for four seasons, student body president for four years, and earned the Young Leaders Award.
