Coach’s Comments: Jennifer is an incredible setter who is gifted with great hands and an outstanding court awareness. These and other skills will be a great asset as she leads the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ offense.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Career: 2007...First Season at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
Before Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ: Martins transferred to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ from Genesee Community College were she played volleyball and softball. In volleyball, she was named second team All-American and Region 3 Player of the Year as a sophomore. Martins ranked nationally in three categories as a freshman, including first in hitting efficiency, 27th in aces per game, 37th in assists per game. Martins played five sports in high school at Iona Catholic Secondary School. She was a member of the volleyball, softball, hockey, basketball, and flag football teams. As a junior, she was named MVP in volleyball, softball, hockey, and flag football. Martins was president of the Physical Education Club and received the Chancellors Award in 2007.
