Coach’s Comments: Amanda is an exciting player who can play both sides of the ball well. She places fear in her opponents with her powerful attach and her exceptional blocking abilities that has led the conference in each of the past two years.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Career: 2005...played in all 135 games, tallied a team-high 550 kills, 36 aces, 334 digs, and a team-high 190 blocks...named TranSouth Freshman of the Year, TranSouth All-Conference, and NAIA All-Region XI. 2006...played in all of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s 133 games...was second on the team with 505 kills and a team high .448 attack percentage...posted 387 digs and a team high 205 blocks...was named conference player of the week once, first team All-Conference, and All-Region...passed the 1,000 career kill plateau.
Before Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ: Amanda played at TCA. Over her career, Amanda earned three All-District and All-Tournament honors. In 2004, she was named District and Region MVP, District Player of the Year, and the Jackson Sun Player of the Year. Amanda holds four state records for kills in high school play.
