#RS-5 Nikita Taylor

Hometown: Holly Springs, Miss.
Previous School: Northwest Mississippi CC
Coach’s Comments: Nikita is one of
the most athletic Lady Bulldogs in recent memory. She will be red-shirting this
season as well. She won the state championship in the 100 meter, 200 meter and
long jump as a senior in high school. This should give you all a good picture of
what she is capable of! We expect that Nikita will be a scorer and defender and
make us better this year in practice. She will get us ready to play against
explosive players.
Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Taylor transferred to Â鶹ÊÓƵ from Northwest Mississippi Community College. She averaged 22 points per game and made over 60 three pointers. Taylor averaged three steals and six rebounds per game at Northwest. She was a third team JUCO All-American. Prepped at Holly Springs High School where she played basketbal and also ran track. Taylor was a Mississippi AAA State Champion in 100M, 200M, and Long Jump as a senior.
