Christina is a local player returning to Jackson after spending last season at the University of Alabama-Birmingham...like Molly York, Christina came to Â鶹ÊÓƵ last fall and has added much more physical play in practices...she is coming off of a late spring ACL tearand surgery but is expected to add depth and diversity to the guard/forward position.
Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ...Smith graduated from North Side High School in 2003 where she was named to the All-State team&she led the Lady Indians to a spot in the state tournament in Murfreesboro, Tenn...as a senior Christina averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds per game.
