Bethany will be an outstanding pitcher for Â鶹ÊÓƵ. How soon that will occur will depend on her maturity and hard work.

Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Burnett prepped at Chester County High School where she won the 2003 Chester County Pitching Award. As a junior in 2004, she was named All-District, All-Tournament MVP, All-State, and Jackson Sun All-West Tennessee. Last season, she posted at 10-2 record on the mound and was just as impressive on offense with a .530 batting average and 36 stolen bases. In 2002, Burnett helped lead the Chester County Dixie Youth team to the state playoffs in 1998 and 2002, with her team capturing the title in 2002. In addition to her on-field credentials, Burnett is a member of the Beta Club, Spanish Honor Society, and the Student Council.
