Amy Mejia

Hometown: Broken Arrow, Okla. Previous School: McNeese State University
Amy is now in her senior season with the Lady Bulldogs. Last season, Amy play shorstop for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ after playing third base as a sophomore. She hit .324 with 14 doubles, 29 RBI and was named All-Region and All-Conference. Amy has a solid glove and is a clutch hitter. As a sophomore, she led the Lady Bulldogs with a .376 average, 68 hits, and 41 RBI. She also hit three homeruns and led Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ with 13 doubles in 2002.
Before Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ: Amy transferred to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ as a sophomore from McNeese State University. She started her freshman season for McNeese State. Amy prepped at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ High School were she led them to the 1999 Class 6A State Championship while being named to the 1999 All-State team.
