Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Johnson prepped at Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.) High School where he played football and soccer. As a senior, he helped lead his football team to the region title. Johnson played goalie for his soccer team, allowing just 1.25 goals per game, while recording four shutouts. Off the field, Johnson was a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. He was the top senior math student, a football scholar athlete and was selected as the junior Principal's Choice.
