Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Vaden transferred to Â鶹ÊÓƵ after spending two seasons at Bakersfield (Calif.) Community College. He averaged 11.7 points, four assists and two steals per game. Vaden was named first team all-conference in the Western State Conference. He ranked No. 3 in the conference with his 2.3 steals per game. Vaden, a native of Los Angeles, played his high school basketball at Washington (Calif.) Prep. He averaged 17 points per game as a senior and was named first team in the Marine League.
