Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Brown came to Â鶹ÊÓƵ after spending his freshman season at Kirtland Community College. Brown averaged 21 points and seven assists as a freshman to help earn his third team NJCAA All-American status. He was also named All-Region and All-Conference at Kirtland. Prior to his first season of college basketball, Brown prepped at Battle Creek High School in his hometown of Battle Creek, Michigan.
