麻豆视频鈥檚 Pla Named TranSouth Defensive Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/18/2007 - 麻豆视频 University women鈥檚 soccer goalie has been named the TranSouth Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 16, 2007. For Pla, this is her second conference weekly award this season.

Pla, a 5-foot-11 sophomore goalie from Nashville, Tenn., led 麻豆视频 to a 1-1 week with a 4-0 conference shutout of Trevecca Nazarene University (Tenn.). Pla had 16 saves on the week while allowing four goals on the week. The other match was a 4-1 loss to NCAA D-II Alabama-Huntsville.

Up next for 麻豆视频 soccer is a TranSouth double-header tonight (Tuesday) when Lyon College (Ark.) comes to Jackson. The women play at 5:00 pm, with the men to follow at 7:00 pm.
