JACKSON, Tenn. - 7/2/2007 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University golf team has signed Hardin County standout to a scholarship beginning this fall. Carroll will enter Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ as a freshman and will be majoring in pre-med.
Carroll, a 6-foot right-hander, prepped at Hardin County High School where he lettered four years in golf. As a senior in 2007, he won the Best Average award and was nominated for the Don Price Award. Carroll's sophomore year saw him earn the Most Improved award. His best scoring year came as a senior when he posted a 36.0 average. Off the course, Carroll has been successful as well. In the BPA Entrepreneurship Competition, he won at both the state and local levels and participated in New York at the national level, representing Tennessee.
