Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Takes Third in TranSouth Golf Tourney, Mallard is Fourth Individual

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - 4/10/2007 - The defending TranSouth Champion Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Bulldogs fell short of a back-to-back bid as the team posted a third place finish in the .

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ was second after the first round but fell to third in the final standings. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ post team totals of 314 on both days. Bethel College (Tenn.) won the event with two days of 306 scores. Cumberland University (Tenn.) posted a first round of 315 and a second day total of 310 to move into second place.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ freshman Clay Mallard, a former Milan High School standout, posted a fourth place finish to lead Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Mallard was named to the TranSouth All-Conference team for his efforts.
