Burnett Receives TranSouth Softball Weekly Award

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/12/2007 - Bethany Burnett of 麻豆视频 University has been named the TranSouth Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 11.

Burnett, a 5-foot-3 sophomore pitcher from Henderson, Tennessee recorded two wins in her two appearances on the week as 麻豆视频 went 3-3 on the week. Burnett earned a win in 麻豆视频鈥檚 12-4 win over Hannibal-LaGrange and also earned a win in relief when 麻豆视频 rallied to defeat Campbellsville 7-6. On the week, Burnett was 2-0 with a 0.91 ERA in 7.2 innings pitched. She allowed 10 hits, four runs, one earned run, and tallied eight strikeouts. 麻豆视频, who is receiving votes in the NAIA rankings, moved to 12-4 on the season and are 7-1 in TranSouth Conference play.
