JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/7/2007 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Bulldogs earned a No. 12 overall seed in next week’s NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is making their 11th appearance in the national tournament, including their fourth in a row and ninth in the past 10 years.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, ranked No. 12 in the final NAIA polls, will play California Baptist University on Thursday, March 15 at 10:45 am.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ notes entering the NAIA National Tournament
• Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is entering the NAIA National Tournament, winning 10 of their last 12 games. The only two losses during that 12 game stretch were both at No. 10 Crichton, 89-81 and 89-85 OT.
• Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ posted four different winning streaks of five games during the season, with five wins being their longest streak of the season. One more five game winning streak for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will earn the Bulldogs a national title.
• Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ comes off a season in which the Bulldogs finished runner-up in the TranSouth Regular Season and Tournament. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ appeared in their third straight conference tournament title game and sixth in the 11-year history of the TranSouth. With this year’s loss, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is now 5-1 in TranSouth Tournament Championship games.
