Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Baseball Adds Kentucky High School Standout

JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/9/2007 - , of Clinton, Kentucky, has signed to play his college baseball for the Bulldogs of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University. Kimbell will enter Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ in the fall of 2007 after his graduation from Hickman County High School in May.

Kimbell, a 5-foot-10 170 lb. middle infielder, comes to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ from Hickman County High School where he was a four sport athlete, including baseball, golf, soccer, and basketball. He helped lead his baseball team to the 2004 and 2006 District Titles and also help post a district runner-up finish in 2005. As a junior, Kimbell hit .325 with 21 RBI, 10 doubles, and two homeruns in 29 games played. He also posted just seven errors in 90 chances at both of the middle infield positions. Off the field, Kimbell is an honor student and among the top in his class.
