JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/3/2007 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs are ranked in the latest NAIA National Basketball Rankings. The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Lady Bulldogs remained No. 3 in the nation for the third straight poll, while the men fell from No. 5 to No. 12 when their five game winning streak was snapped in their final game before the Christmas break.
Both teams open TranSouth Conference play on tomorrow (Thursday, January 4) when they travel to Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. The Lady Bulldogs will face a Cumberland team that is ranked No. 11. The men will also have a tough road test as the Cumberland men are receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ continues their road trip with games at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville on Saturday. The Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs return home for their first home games in over a month on Thursday, January 11 when they host conference newcomer Mid-Continent University (Ky.) at 6 and 8:00 pm.
