Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's Lean Named Men's Soccer NAIA All-Region & All-American

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/25/2006 - Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University goalie has been named and NAIA honorable mentioned All-American. This honor for Lean follows his NAIA All-Region honor. For Lean, this is the first NAIA honor in his Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ career. Lean's older brother, Jeff, was named an NAIA All-American for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ as a goalie in 2000.

Lean, 6-foot-4 junior from North Delta, British Columbia, started all 16 team matches for the Bulldogs this season as the goalie. He played 1,479 total minutes between the posts, and sat out just 10 minutes during the season. Lean posted 73 saves and had a 1.095 goals against average for the season. He allow 18 total goals on the year and posted four shutouts.
