麻豆视频鈥檚 Valmera Named TranSouth Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/7/2006 - of the 麻豆视频 University men鈥檚 basketball team has been named the TranSouth Conference Player of the Week for the week ending November 5.

Valmera, a 6-foot-8 center from Port-au-Prince, Haiti scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the Bulldogs win over NAIA No. 18 Olivet Nazarene University. Valmera also added four blocks and an assist. Valmera hit 9-of-18 (50%) from the field and was 4-of-6 from the foul line.

The Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 5 in the NAIA and are 1-0 on the young season. 麻豆视频 plays next on Friday and Saturday in the McKendree College Classic in Lebanon, Illinois.
