Volleyball Drops First Match of Season

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/21/2006 - After an 11-0 start to the 2006 season, the fourth best start in program history, the 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldogs dropped their first match of the season to conference foe Lyon College (Ark.) 3-0 (30-21, 30-25, 30-26). 麻豆视频 falls to 11-1 overall and 3-1 in the TranSouth, while Lyon improves to 9-3 overall and 2-0 in league play.

In the match, 麻豆视频 played with out Edith Mendoza who missed the match for family reasons. Mendoza is currently third on the team in kills and second in blocks.

麻豆视频 has a very busy week ahead as they play four matches next week, three of which are conference matches. 麻豆视频 starts out on the road at Williams Baptist College (Ark.) and Martin Methodist College (Tenn.) on Monday and Tuesday. The Lady Bulldogs then come back home to play Trevecca Nazarene University (Tenn.) on Thursday at 7:00 pm and then Cumberland University (Tenn.) on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
