麻豆视频鈥檚 Schirmer Named TranSouth & NAIA Region XI Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/4/2006 - of 麻豆视频 University has been named TranSouth Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the week respectively for the week ending September 3, 2006. This is the first week of awards for the TranSouth Athletic Conference for the 2006-07 athletic season.

Schirmer, a 5-foot-11 senior from Long Beach, California, led the 麻豆视频 Lady Bulldogs to a 6-0 week, including a tournament win at the Cumberland Tournament. She was named to the All-Tournament team, leading the team with 81 kills and 19 aces on the week.

NAIA Region XI awards will be released on Tuesday, September 5 and the NAIA National awards will be released on Wednesday afternoon.
