麻豆视频 Men's Soccer Moves to 2-0 with Shutout Win

JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/29/2006 - The 麻豆视频 University men's soccer team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 6-0 win at Clearwater Christian College (Fla.) on Tuesday.

麻豆视频 led 1-0 at halftime on a goal by Bobby McColl in the 35th minute. 麻豆视频 then added three goals in the first eight minutes after halftime. Craig Clark, Wagner Oliveira, and Benny Crozier put the Bulldogs up 4-0 during that stretch. McColl added his second goal of the game in the 60th minute followed by Gareth Munro's first goal of the season in the 79th minute. 麻豆视频 recorded assists from Kyle Sanders with two, Christopher Prentice, McColl, and Wagner Oliveira with one each. Chris Lean and Alex Ayris combined for a shutout with Lean playing the first 81 minutes of the match. Lean recorded one save while Ayris posted three saves.

麻豆视频 will play next on Friday, September 8 at 2 pm in scrimmage match versus Fisk University (Tenn.) on 麻豆视频's campus.
